Chicken Curry

  • Ingredients

    • 400 gms Chicken
    • Tata Salt to taste
    • 1 cup onion paste
    • 1/2 cup tomato puree
    • 2 tbsps ginger-garlic paste
    • 4 tbsps of oil
    • 20 gms chicken masala
    • 1/4th cup yogurt
    • 3 green chillies
    • 2 tbsps fresh cream
    • 1 tbsp of chopped fresh coriander leaves

    Method to make Chicken Curry

      Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion paste and sauté till turns golden in colour.

      Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

      Then add slit green chilies, tomato puree, mix and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

      Add yogurt and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

      Add chicken masala and cook till fragrant.

      Now, add chicken, cut into 1 inch pieces and sauté on high heat for 2-3 minutes.

      Add salt to taste and 2 cups water and mix well.

      Cover and cook till chicken is completely done.

      Remove from heat, add fresh cream and mix well.

      Garnish with 1 tbsp chopped coriander and serve hot.

chef's recomendation

Use fried onion paste instead of chopped onions to add a different taste
