Gatte Ki Sabzi

  • Ingredients

    • For Gatte:
    • 1 cup of Tata Sampann Fine Besan
    • ½ tbsp. of red chilli powder
    • ½ tsp of turmeric powder
    • 2 tsps. of curd and oil
    • For Gravy:
    • 1 onion chopped
    • ½ cup of tomato puree
    • 1 ½ tsps. Of ginger-garlic paste
    • ½ tsp of turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 2tbsps of jeera
    • ½ tsp of garam masala
    • 1 green chili
    • Tata salt to taste

    Method to make Gatte Ki Sabzi

      Make the dough by mixing all the ingredients for gatte and add water.

      Roll the dough so as to form the cylindrical shape of gate.

      Since the roll into small pieces.

      Boil water in a pan.

      Once the water starts boiling, add the gate pieces to it.

      After boiling for around 10 minutes, drain the water and keep the gatte aside.

      Gravy

      Heat oil, jeera seeds and green chilli in a pan.

      Next, add the ginger-garlic paste to the pan and fry for a minute.

      Then, add onion, tomato puree, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix well.

      Add water to the gravy and cook.

      Finally add the gate pieces to the pan.

      Cool for 8-10 minutes or more.
